Linda Charlotte Kupferschmidt, of Mildmay, passed away peacefully at Grey-Bruce Health Services - Owen Sound, on Thursday, May 10, 2018.  She was 69.

Born in Hanover on November 12, 1948, to the late Arthur and Alvena (nee Russwurm) Fidler.  Linda was a member of the Catholic Womens League, Mildmay Seniors, The Horticultural Society, and a regular participant in the local fall fair.  She was also a former Girl Guide Leader. 

Loving mother of Bonnie (Doug) Schutte of Palmerston, Bruce Kupferschmidt (Deborah Bellemarre) of Hamilton, Charlotte (Rick) Gowing of Mildmay, and Wayne (Charlotte) Kupferschmidt of Airdrie, Alberta.  Dearly missed by her grandchildren Matt, Raquelle, Maxwell, Marshall, Gabby, and great grandchildren Hadley and Tucker.  Fondly remembered by siblings Marion (Don) McAllister of Chesley, Doug (Jane) Fidler of Walkerton, and several nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by her parents, granddaughter Jennifer and siblings Dennis Fidler, Betty Pye, and Helen Kingston. 

Visitation will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Mildmay, on Monday, May 14, 2018, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm where a Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at 11:00 am.  Interment in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Mildmay.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to Sacred Heart Catholic Church-Mildmay would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover.
