Lois (Gillis) Schaus

Lois Schaus passed away peacefully in Toronto on November 10, 2017 after a brief illness. 

Born in  Melville, P.E.I.  on  January 1, 1925, Lois was the daughter of the late John J. and Anna Gillis of Melville.  She was predeceased by her husband of 72 years, Dr. Orland O. Schaus, a native of Hanover, on September 3^rd, 2017; by her brother John Wilfred Gillis in 2000, and by her nephew Creston in 2018.

Lois is survived by her sister Joan Ferguson of Montreal; by a niece Cathy King in Texas; and by nephews Carey Gillis of Melville, Chuck Gillis of Kilmuir, P.E.I. , Neal Ferguson of Ottawa and Peter Ferguson of Montreal. 

A service of Remembrance will take place at the Mighton Funeral Home in Hanover, Ontario on Saturday, May 26^th with visitation at 11:30 a.m., until the time of Service at 12 noon.  Rev. Bonnie Sutherland officiating.  Interment in Hanover Cemetery, Hanover.
