Nancy Lou Long, formerly of Hanover, passed away peacefully at Brucelea Haven in Walkerton on Saturday, February 6, 2021. She was 87.
Born on October 13, 1933, in Toronto to the late Charlie and Jessie (nee Snider) Marchant. Nancy was a strong, quiet lady, always with her family as her focus. She worked many years as a medical secretary.
Survived by her beloved husband Gordon Long of Hanover. Loved mother of Kathaleen Atkinson of Hanover, David Long of Toronto, Ruth (Bob) Dimarco of Brampton, Marie Fong of Hanover, Steven Long of Brampton, and Anita Long of Sutton. Nancy will be remembered by several grandchildren and great grandchildren who lovingly remember her. Fondly remembered by sisters June (Everet) Pallin of Toronto, and Helen (Malcolm) Warner of Brampton, as well as several nieces and nephews and their families. Predeceased by sisters Diana Blair and Edith Ashton.
To honour her wishes, cremation has taken place.
