Peacefully surrounded by the love of his family at the Hanover Care Centre on Thursday evening, March 29, 2018. John Neirgarth Fleming of Hanover at the age of 94 years.

John was born in Normanby Township on December 30, 1923. Son of the late John H. and Laura (nee Neirgarth) Fleming. He farmed in Bentinck for many years while also involved with the construction business. He was a member of St. Matthew's Ev. Lutheran Church, Hanover.

Dearly loved husband of Betty (nee Eberth) Fleming of Hanover. Loving father of Murray (Barbara) Fleming of R#1 Hanover, Les (Lin) Fleming of R#1 Neustadt, Bonnie (Jim) Rogers of Hanover, Laurie (Steve) Colyer of R#2 Branchton and Korleen (Kevin) Frieburger of R#1 Elmwood. Special grandpa of Crystal (Brad) Whalley, Vicky (Rob) Govier, John (Renee) Fleming, Lana Fleming, Lyndsay Fleming, Rachel Rogers, Luke (Shaye) Rogers, Chad (Ania) Colyer, Dustin Colyer, Samantha Colyer, Meghan (Ryan) Fry, Nick Frieburger, Holly Frieburger and great grandfather of 15. Dear brother in law of Muriel Fleming of Hanover and Gail (Earl) Mountain of R#1 Durham. Predeceased by his brother Harold and sisters Mary Schenk and Anna Stewart.

Visitation will be held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Sunday, April 1, 2018 from 2-5pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 2, 2018 at 11:00 am, at St. Matthew's Ev. Lutheran Church, Hanover. Rev. John Polacok officiating. Interment in Hanover Cemetery, Hanover, Ontario.
