Gladys Marie Otto, of Hanover, passed away peacefully at Hanover and District Hospital on Tuesday, July 21, 2020. She was 86.
Born in Elmwood on September 17, 1933. She was the daughter of the late William and Pauline (Harnock) Rhody. Gladys was a school teacher for the Southampton School Board and a member of the Chantry Island Chambetts. She was a devoted member of St. Matthew's Ev. Lutheran Church in Hanover for many years and will be missed by the congregation.
Survived by her brother Gerald Rhody of Kinlough. Remembered fondly by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers Arthur Rhody, Rev. Reuben Rhody, Morris Rhody, Dr. Ralph Rhody, Maxwill Rhody and by her sisters Florence Rhody and Jean Rhody.
A Private Family Graveside Funeral Service followed by interment, will be held at the Hanover Cemetery. Pastor Lyndsay McGregor officiating. Funeral Arrangements entrusted to the care of Mighton Funeral Home.
