Jacqueline Helen Magwood (nee Shepherd), formerly of Hanover, passed away after her battle with Brain and Lung Cancer at Pinecrest Manor Nursing Home in Lucknow on Friday, June 26, 2020. She was 75.

Born on July 27, 1944 in Georgetown to the late Henry and Maude Shepherd. Better known as Jackie to family and friends, she started her career with General Motors in Brampton then moved on to Avon Lighting in Hanover where she will be remembered by her customers for her service and standards. Working allowed her to keep herself busy and perhaps gain a bit of time alone away from all the "boys" in the house. She loved being a mom and was supportive in all that they did.

Survived by her loving sons Kurt Magwood (Kerri Eckensweiller) and Adam Magwood both of Hanover. Loved grandmother of Ashley (Andrew) Graham, Taylor Magwood and Spencer Magwood. Especially proud of her only great granddaughter Avaleigh Graham. Remembered by her brothers in law Ron (Gail) Magwood of Durham, Reg (Luanne) Magwood of Hanover and a dear special friend Kathi (George) Maskell of Hanover. Predeceased by her beloved husband Robert in 2015 and her siblings.

To honour her wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family inurnment of ashes will take place at a later date. Inurnment in the Shepherd Family Plot, Halton Hills, Georgetown.

Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover.
