Ronald "Ron" Gordon Wright, of Hanover, passed away peacefully after a battle with cancer at Hanover and District Hospital on Saturday, June 20, 2020. He was 79.

Born in Kincardine, on November 9, 1940, Ron was the son of the late Gordon and Eleanor (nee Acton) Wright. Ron was a truck driver for Dickies until retiring from the company. He enjoyed his time out on the road, as well as enjoyed time away travelling in his motorhome. After meeting the love of his life Jean Marie (nee Krause) they wed on May 7, 1960.

Survived by loving wife Jean (nee Krause) Wright of Hanover. Father of Judy Wright (George Siegner) of Mildmay, Linda (Ron) Harron, Murray Wright (Brenda Ortman) both of Hanover, Steve (Kelly) Wright of Owen Sound and Brian Wright of Parry Sound. Beloved Grandfather of Trevor (Jill), Stephanie (Rob), Kaitlin, Derek, Wilson (Candace), Liam, Mike (Alisa), Wanita (John), Sandy (Natalie), Kayla and Nicole (Ron) and greatgrandfather of thirteen. Remembered sister-in-law Ruth Seip, brother-in-law Gordon (Marguerite) Krause both of Chesley and several nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his great granddaughter Brianna Bauman, brother Milton (Barb) Wright and brother-in-law Gerald Seip.

In keeping with the mandates from the Province of Ontario, a Private Family Funeral Service will be held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover. Interment in Hanover Cemetery.
