Mildred "Millie" Allen (nee Jones), formerly of Hanover, passed away at Huronlea Nursing Home in Brussels on Wednesday, June 17, 2020. She was 97.

Born in Walkerton on June 24, 1922 to the late Paul and Hannah (nee Chatreau) Jones. Millie worked in sales while raising her family with her late husband James Charles "J.C." Allen. She was a church elder with St. Andrew's Church in Hanover and was a member of the Women's Institute until its disbandment. Most of all, she was the best mom ever and will be missed very much.

Survived by sons Bryan (Marilyn) Allen of Brussels and Jim (Elke) Allen of St. Thomas. Beloved grandmother of Candice (Scott) Force, Scott Allen (Ashlee), Christopher Allen (Jinah) and Codie Allen (Jessica). Great grandmother of Kash Allen. Also loved by her many nieces and nephews and their families. Predeceased by her husband in 1991 James Charles "J.C." Allen, sisters Ruth Dumas, Margaret Thomas and by her brother Walter Jones.

A Private Family Graveside Funeral Service will be held at Hanover Cemetery. Rev. Bonnie Sutherland officiating.
