Lori Weber, formerly of Neustadt, passed away peacefully at Hanover Care Centre on Thursday, May 21, 2020. She was 74.
Lori was born in Klotzsche, Germany on July 16, 1945 to the late Herbert and Frieda (nee Glatte) Schindler. Lori married Howard on October 9, 1965 and soon started to grow their family to include two sons. She worked a long and fulfilling career as a RPN, including positions at both the Walkerton Hospital and the Owen Sound Hospital. Lori enjoyed raising her family with Howard on their farm.
Survived by husband Howard J. Weber of Neustadt. Mother of Keith Weber of Hong Kong and Jeffrey Weber of Vancouver, B.C. Fondly remembered by her brother Volkmar Schindler of Hamilton and brothers-in-law Tom (Sylvia) Weber of Neustadt and Gerald Weber of Kitchener, and many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by special nieces Dianne (Hubert) Kelly of Oakville and her daughter Erin Kelly of Vancouver, and Michelle Onion and her son Riley both of Rockwood. Predeceased by her parents, and brother Wolfgang Schindler.
To honour her wishes, there will be no visitation or services at this time. Cremation has taken place, with inurnment at a later date in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Carlsruhe.
