Evelyn was born on November 9, 1925 in Bentinck Township. Evelyn was employed as a Nurses Aid both in Hanover and Durham until retiring in 1978. She enjoyed farming along side her husband in Bentinck. She was a faithful and dedicated wife and loved her husband Lloyd with all her heart. She was a member of the Bentinck Federated Farm Women of Allan Park and the Hanover Fair Board. Farming was in her blood and she happily went about chores with a smile on her face. Everyone loved her homemade goodies and you didn't often leave from a visit with Evelyn without something to take home. She remained on the family farm until her last breath.
