Judy Marie Wilkin, of Elmwood, passed away suddenly at her home on Tuesday, April 14, 2020. She was 68.
Born on December 16, 1951, in Listowel, Ontario. Judy had a fondness for her friends and family. Many customers at Tim Hortons in Hanover will remember her bright neverending smile and going the extra mile for everyone. She had a love for her collector dolls that can be seen all throughout her home.
Survived by her loving husband Buddy "Bud" Wilkin of Elmwood. Mother of Dave Lindenschmidt and Tina Wilkin (Harold Schmidt) both of Ayton and Shauna Wilkin (Nathan McAnsh) of Hamilton. Judy's greatest joy was her grandchildren. She loved hearing about their lives and spoiled them appropriately as any good grandma would do. Missing their special connection with her are Katrina (Bill) Thompson, Mitchell Wilkin, Ashley Wilkin, Kyler Thibodeau, Kataya Thibodeau, Alex Lindenschmidt and Tony Lindenschmidt. She was overjoyed when promoted to great grandma to her two great grandchildren. Loved sister of Gwen LeMay of Alberta, Gord (Kim) Murdoch of Paisley, Michael Murdoch of Ayton, Jackie (Dave) Vandenbraak of Palmerston and Louise McFadden of Alberta. Special sister in law of Queenie Wilkin of Walkerton. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Marie Hill, her son Tim Lindenschmidt and by her sisters Rosemary Murdoch and Wendy (Glen) Dadswell.
To honour her wishes, cremation has taken place with a Memorial Celebration of Life planned later in the Summer.
Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Mighton Funeral Home.
