Dorothy Jean Russwurm, of Hanover, passed away at The Village Senior's Community, Hanover on Monday, April 6, 2020. She was 89.

Born in Moorefield, on June 6, 1930, daughter of the late Harry and Elizabeth (McDougall) Holt. Dorothy was a secretary for Fisher and Harris Electrical until retiring.

Loving mother of Wayne Russwurm of Hanover, Jean Ann Breckenridge (Roger) of Grand Bend, Brenda (Paul) Osthoff of RR3 Hanover, Jacquelyn (Paul) Schlatman of Smithville, and Paul (Donna) Russwurm of Hanover.  Fondly remembered by grandchildren Tania Bardoel, Tara (Frank) Arcomone, Christopher (Tasha) Breckenridge, Kendall Osthoff, Adam (Masami) Osthoff, Alexandra Schlatman, Rachel Schlatman (Lucas), Jenna Russwurm (Emily) and Nathaniel Russwurm, as well as great grandchildren Jordan, Roman, Tia, Brooklyn, Tyler, and Rilee. Dearly missed by sister Elizabeth Ann (George) Coneybeare of Britton. Predeceased by husband Earl Russwurm.

A private graveside burial service was held with Rev. Denis McCarroll officiating. Interment in Hanover Cemetery.

Memorial donations to the Arthritis Society were appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
