Leona Charlotte Isabelle Herman (nee Locking), of Hanover, passed away peacefully at Hanover Care Centre on Saturday, March 7, 2020. She was 88.

Born on April 8, 1931 to the late George and Annie (Newton) Locking. Leona was employed with P & H Foods, retiring after 41 years of service and will be remembered by many co workers. Leona was well known around the Grey Bruce Area for her active role selling both Avon products and various tickets for fundraisers....even selling a few grand prize winners.

Survived by son Larry Arthur Herman of Marl Lake and daughter Betty Ann Herman-Hundt (Ron) of RR#3 Hanover. Loved grandmother of Tammy Wheeldon, Charleen (Terry) Parker, R.J. (Ruth) Hundt, Debbie (David) Postings and Sharon Herman. Great grandmother of Quinn, Ryley, Payton Wheeldon, Mehtao and Charles Burrell, Dylan Smith, Ivy Hundt, Elisha, Thomas and Steven Minogue, Benjamin and Kristen Waechter, Isaac, Molly and April Zettler. Loved by all her step grand, great grand and great great grandchildren that she never treated differently. She will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and the Arthur Herman family. Predeceased by her husband Arthur, grandson Larry Arthur Jr., brothers Roy (Louise) Locking, Howard (Stella) Locking, a brother in infancy and sisters Verna (Bill) Leitch and Hazel (Fred) Brown.

Visitation will be held at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Hanover, on Saturday, March 14, 2020 from 9:30 am - 10:45 am where a Funeral Service will be held at 11 am. Rev. Bonnie Sutherland officiating. Interment in Hanover Cemetery.
