Margaret Gaunt

Margaret Charlotte Gaunt (nee Morrow), of Hanover, passed away peacefully with her sons by her side at Hanover and District Hospital on Monday evening, February 10, 2020. She was 84

Born in Lion's Head on January 7, 1936 to the late William and Christina (nee Nixon) Morrow. Margaret was a meat packer with Hank's for 21 years, a former Sweet Adelines, a member of the Group Committee for Boy Scouts and a member of the Square Dance Club. Marg always enjoyed working along side her husband Ken as they mixed and sifted flour and eggs together baking. Most people will remember their baking business that they did together.

Survived by sons Michael (Joy) Gaunt of Cold Lake, Alberta, Randy Gaunt of Markdale. Loved grandmother of Mackenzie, Caleb, Sean, Richard and known as GG to her great grandchildren Victor, Jasmine and Cali. Remembered by her brother David (Janet) Morrow of Lion's Head, sister May Walpole of Chesley and sister in law Faye Dalrymple. Predeceased by her beloved husband Kenneth and brother in law Ray Walpole.

Visitation will be held at Grace United Church, Hanover, on Saturday, February 15, 2020 from 9:30 am until time of a Funeral Service at 11 am. Interment in Hanover Cemetery.
