Richard Gross, of Hanover, passed away at Hanover and District Hospital, on Tuesday, March 13, 2018.  He was 78.  Richard worked hard in the lumber business, in various aspects from forestry to sawmills and furniture.  Richard lived most of his life at the family homestead in Carlsrhue. 

Born October 19, 1939, in Hanover, to the late George and Christine (nee O'Henly) Gross.  Loved brother of Robert (Joanne) Gross of Hanover, Francis (Dianne) Gross, Christine Gross, and Theresa (Lou) Villeneuve, all of Kitchener.  Dear brother in law of Mary Gross. Fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews and their families. Predeceased by his parents, brothers John Gross and Donald Gross, sister Mary Elizabeth in infancy, and step sister Rose Jayes.

Visitation will be held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Friday, March 16, 2018, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. 

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2018, at 11:00 am, at St. Francis Xavier Church - Carlsruhe. Father Paul Hrynczyszyn officiating.  Spring Interment in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Carlsruhe, Ontario.
