Theresa Lippert, of Hanover, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at home on Wednesday evening, January 15, 2020. She was 90.

Born on February 25, 1929 in Hanover to the late Ed and Susanna (nee Mullen) Diemert. Theresa married William Lippert in 1951 where they raised two children together until tragically he passed away in 1964, leaving her to raise their children on her own.

Beloved by son Paul Lippert and daughter Valarie Schreinert both of Hanover. Adored grandmother of April Lippert. Theresa was the last surviving member of her family. Predeceased by her beloved husband William, daughter in law Elaine Lippert, son in law Gerald Schreinert and siblings Evelyn, Bill, Elmer, Claire "Curley", Twin baby Magnus in infancy and Helen. Theresa had a great love of dogs, especially for Nick, who checked on her constantly throughout each day.

To honour her wishes, a private family gathering was held at Mighton Funeral Home and a private interment service was held at Holy Family Cemetery, Hanover. Father Gary Schlack officiated.

Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
