Leo "Lee" Troy, of Hanover, passed away suddenly at Hanover and District Hospital on Wednesday, January 15, 2020. He was 82.

Born in Minto Township on May 28, 1937 to the late Joseph and Madeline (nee Mansfield) Troy. Better known to family and friends as "Lee", he would always be up for a chat. He enjoyed meeting people and interacting with neighbours and friends daily.

Loved by devoted wife Mary (nee Wilkinson) Troy of Hanover. Father of Linda (Bruce) Ritchie of Calgary, Rick (Ann) Troy of Courtice and Scott Troy of Calgary. Doting grandfather of Jessica Ritchie (Dan Sanders), Keegan Ritchie, Jacqueline Ritchie, Alec Troy, Theoren Troy, Evan Troy, Luke Redmond, Branden Redmond and great grandson Owen Sanders. Fondly remembered by his brother Gerald (Shirley) Troy of Regina and sister in law Irene Csontos of Hanover. Predeceased by his brother Bryce Troy and sister Shirley Barron.

Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Visitation held at Mighton Funeral Home on Sunday, January 19, 2020 from 2-4 pm where a Memorial Celebration will be held on Monday, January 20, 2020 at 11:00 am. Cremation has taken place and inurnment in Hanover Cemetery at a later date.

Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
