Edna Sharpe, formerly of Hanover, passed away at Rockwood Terrace in Durham on Tuesday, December 31, 2019. She was 92.

Born on March 22, 1927 in Brant Township to the late Benjamin and Maria (nee Ahrens) Hoffman. Edna was a lifetime member of the Hanover Baptist Church and the Hanover Horticultural Society and will be missed dearly by many.

Beloved mother of Gloria Cook (Scott Davidson) of Maxwell, Allan (Cathy) Sharpe of Georgian Bluffs, Norm (Karen) Sharpe of Ottawa, Wayne (Brenda) Sharpe of Toronto and Penny Sharpe (Don) of Hamilton. Special grandma of Lylah, Dale, Jason, Andrew, Jason, Ryan, David, Gregory and Benjamin and great grandmother of Nicole, Justin, Genevive, Zak, Austin, Evan, Sloan, Arkin, Ryker and Kinley. Predeceased by her beloved husband Alfred Sharpe and brothers Leonard, Alvin, Arnold, Eldon Hoffman and sister Lillian Baetz.

Visitation will be held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Saturday, January 4, 2020 from 10 am until time of a Funeral Service at 11:00 am. Rev. Jim Kinsman officiating. Interment in Hanover Cemetery.
