Arthur Pfeffer, formerly of Hanover, passed away peacefully at Westmount Nursing Home in Kitchener on Wednesday, October 16, 2019. He was 89.

Born on April 7, 1930 in Bentinck Township on the 4th Concession on the family farm to the late Heinrich "Henry" and Wilhelmina (nee Winter) Pfeffer. Arthur, known as "Art" or "Artie" attended the Habermehl School in Bentinck Township. He was the little brother to Melvin, who was 13 years his senior, but still enjoyed playing and helping out on the family farm. In later years, Artie enjoyed activities such as Bingo, Bowling, Art work and spending time with his family and friends.

Survived by niece Helen (Tom) Alexander of Kitchener. Loved great uncle of Larissa Alexander (Dave Vis) and their children Alexander and Johnathan Vis. He will be fondly remembered by the many staff at his home at Westmount Long Term Care in Kitchener. Predeceased by his parents and brother Melvin (Geraldine) Pfeffer.

Visitation will be held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Friday, October 18, 2019 from 10 am until time of a Funeral Service at 11:00 am. Rev. John Polacok officiating. Interment along side his parents in Hanover Cemetery.

Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to St. Matthew's Ev. Lutheran Church would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
