Gloria Laura Van Slyke of Toronto, passed away at the Wiarton Hospital on Wednesday, September 11, 2019, in her 92nd year. 　

Wife of the late Clifford Louis Van Slyke. Dear mother of Dana Van Slyke of Toronto and Dale Van Slyke and his wife Karen of Sauble Beach. Remembered fondly by her grandchildren, Kara, Brock and his wife Rachel. Sister of David and Elaine Metzger of Pembroke, Lewis Metzger of Barrie and Emily Cousins of Brussels. Predeceased by her sister Audrey Helwig, her brother William Metzger and her parents Sylvester and Dora (nee Schaus) Metzger. 　

To honour her wishes, cremation has taken place with inurnment in Hanover Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover. Family invite friends to the Royal Canadian Legion - Hanover on Thursday, September 26, 2019 from 1-4pm.

Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Grey Bruce Health Services - Wiarton Site would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
