William "Bill" Richard Byrne, of Hanover, passed away at The Village Seniors Community, Hanover on Tuesday, February 20, 2018. He was 76.

Born July 3, 1941, in Dublin, Ireland, to the late Felix and May (nee Noon) Byrne.

Survived by his loving partner, Irene Costain of Hanover. Dearly missed by his children Paul Byrne (Susan) of Elmvale, William Byrne of Stayner, Mark Byrne (Carol) of Brampton, Kim Byrne of Brampton. Bill will be fondly remembered by his several granchildren, and greatgrandchildren, and his sister Ann (Jack) McLean of Hawkesbury. Predeceased by his parents and siblings.

To honour his wishes, cremation has taken place and a family celebration of his life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion - Hanover on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 from 1-4 pm. Thank you to Dr. Heerema and all the other Doctors, Nurses and staff at the Hanover Medical Clinic for your care over the years for Bill. A special thank you to the Village Seniors Community for their care over the past few months while Bill was ill. Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association, or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. Arrangements entrusted to Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover.
