Robert "Robbie" May, of Neustadt, was taken away from his precious family suddenly at Hanover and District Hospital on Friday, April 19, 2019. He was 46.
Born on September 6, 1972 to Debra (nee Stock) and Jake May. Robbie was employed as a Truck Driver. Robbie was known to his friends as a sweet caring man who would help anyone he could. He also had faced some hardships in life, but was working on them with guts and determination. Sadly, while trying to conquer his disease of addiction on the road to recovery, his disease won and stole him from everyone he loved.
Survived by loving partner Jamie Lynn Kendrick and her daughter Teagan Kendrick-Watson, whom he loved as his own daughter for many years, both of Neustadt. Dear father of Tanner Studer-May and Cole Studer-May both of London. Loved son of Jake May of Newfoundland and Debra (Rob) Pegelo of Hanover. Fondly remembered by his sister Kelly May of Kitchener, brothers Derek (Shelley) May of Walkerton and Chad May of Hanover. Treasured son in law Joan Secord (Cory Pegelo) of Neustadt and Scott (Barbara) Kendrick of Baysville. Remembered by his sister in law Theresa Kendrick of Neustadt. Loved by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and extended family members. Predeceased by his grandparents William and Joan Stock.
To honour his wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends and family are invited to a Memorial Visitation on Saturday, June 1, 2019 from 2-6pm at the Neustadt Community Centre with a Service of Remembrance commencing at 3pm.
Memorial donations to the Canadian Mental Health & Addiction Services or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
