Timothy "Tim" David Byers, of Owen Sound, passed away suddenly at his home on Saturday, April 13, 2019. He was 47.

Born in Hanover on June 9, 1971 to Ted and Julie (nee Rutherford) Byers. Also known as Dave to friends, Tim touched many with his generous spirit, story telling and humour.

Survived by children Corrie and Destiny and loved grandfather of Aubree. Dear son of Ted (Diane McNichol-Byers) of Hanover. Tim will be lovingly remembered by his sister Teresa Lonsberry and her daughter Samantha. Also remembered by Dave Lichty. Predeceased by his mother Julie Byers.

Cremation has taken place with a private family inurnment in the Hanover Cemetery. A Memorial Celebration of Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #130 Hanover on Thursday, April 25, 2019 from 1-4 pm.

Memorial donations to the Wes for Youth or to the Canadian Mental Health Association would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover.
