Donald Carl Ruhl, of Hanover, passed away at Hanover and District Hospital, Hanover on Thursday, March 14, 2019. He was 87.

Born on September 25, 1931 in Hanover to the late Theodore "Ted" and Arnetta (nee Holm) Ruhl. He was employed in a sawmill and the furniture business.

Survived by sons Don Jr. Ruhl of Hanover, Gregory Ruhl of Toronto and daughter Sharon (Dennis) Bennewies of RR#1 Bornholm. Loved grandfather of Lindsay (Shawn) Bennewies, Alex (Kaye-Lani) Bennewies and great grandfather of Sophia, Delaiyna and step great grandchild Paizley. Dear brother of Stan Ruhl of Stoney Creek and Audrey Hopkins of Durham. Predeceased by his beloved wife Marilyn and brother in law Jim Hopkins.

To honor his wishes, cremation has taken place and inurnment in Hanover Cemetery Columbarium will take place at a later date. A Memorial celebration for both Marilyn and Don will be held at a later date and will be announced by Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover.
