John "Kevin" Lahey, of Hanover, formerly of Cambridge and Goderich, passed away peacefully in his 93rd year after a full life on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at the Hanover & District Hospital.

Born on September 29, 1926 on Bell Island, Newfoundland to the late Patrick and Annie (nee Clemens) Lahey. Kevin was a machinist and retired after 33 years of service.

Survived by wife Barbara (nee Bassett) Lahey. Loving father of Kathy (Robert), Reg (Landis), John (Jenny), David (Donna), Mary Joy and Annette (Dan). He enjoyed spending time with his 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He will be missed by his brothers, sisters and their families as well as his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his daughter Pam (Carl).

At Kevin's request, cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will take place in the spring for family and friends. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover.
