DUBRICK
Ronald "Ron" James Dubrick, of Old Bridge Road, Hanover, passed away at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener on Friday, January 18, 2019. He was 78.
Born in Kitchener, Ontario, on January 25, 1940, to the late George and Lavina (nee Bleach) Dubrick. After Ron retired from Kitchener-Wilmot Hydro, he and Ruth moved permanently to their dream property on the Saugeen River, where they spent many wonderful years together. Ron was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing and hunting, and also enjoyed his membership with the Saugeen Valley Fur and Feather Association.
Survived by loving wife Ruth Dubrick of Hanover. Dearly missed by children Richard (Juanita) Dubrick and Robert "Bob" Dubrick of Kitchener, Michele Knoll of Grimsby, and Rhonda Knoll (Tahmo Gharabaghi) of Milton, as well as grandchildren Alexa, Ian, Nick, and Eva. Fondly remembered by sister Joyce Reidel of Waterloo, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Bruce "Red" and his wife Glenna, Bob, and Harold Dubrick, and brother in-law Clayt Reidel.
Visitation at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Sunday January 20, 2019, from 1-4 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 21, 2019 at 11 am, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Brant Township (#260 – Sideroad 30 North – Brockton). Rev. Hannes Aasa officiated. Interment in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Brant Township.
