Ronald “Ron” John Kunkel, of Hanover, passed away at Hanover and District Hospital, on Tuesday, January 1, 2019.  He was 71. Born in Brant Township on December 18, 1947, to the late Henry and Jessie (nee Brindley) Kunkel.

Survived by loving wife Susanne (nee Robson) of Hanover, and sons John (Angie) of Hanover, Ron (Bobbie Kaufman) of Brockville, and Richard (Sonja) of Paris.  Dearly missed by grandchildren Kiara, Kurtis, Abigal, Carley, Alyssa, and Grace.  Fondly remembered by siblings Gary Kunkel of Durham, Len (Susan) Kunkel of Mitchell, and Marj Ernest of Monkton.  Predeceased by his parents, and brothers Frank and Hank. 

Visitation will be held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Saturday, January 5, 2019, from 9:30 am until the time of a Funeral Service at 11:00 am. Pastor Lyndsay McGregor officiated. Inurnment in Douglas Hill Cemetery.
