Kenneth” Ken” Alan Johnston, of Hanover, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 16, 2018, at London Health Science Centre - University Site in London, with family by his side in his 77th year.
Born in Guelph, Ontario, on November 20, 1941, to the late Edgar and Marion (nee Root) Johnston. Ken was a loyal employee for Imperial Tobacco. He started at the age of 19 and remained there until his retirement.
Ken is survived by his loving wife Lois of Hanover, Ontario. Also survived by son Philip and his wife Christine of Brighton, Ontario, and grandchildren Jasmine and James, by son Randy and his wife Kim of Calgary, Alberta, and grandchild Ryan, by daughter Carol Drumm and her husband Rodger of Oliphant, Ontario, by daughter Molly Myers and her husband Bob of Fergus, Ontario, and grandchildren Morgan and Jozsiphine, by son Rick Meek and his wife Melissa of Kerwood, Ontario, and grandchildren Alicia, Shelby, and Jillian. Ken will also be greatly missed by his pet dog Wiskers.
To honour his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Inurnment in Rockwood Cemetery, Rockwood.
