Freddie Martin, of Hanover, passed away suddenly at Hanover and District Hospital, Hanover on his 69th birthday, Friday, September 14, 2018.

Born in Windsor, Ontario on September 14, 1949 to the late Civille and Rose (nee Gagnier) Martin. Freddie loved his job at Interforest and eventually became Security there. He loved hitting the road on his Harley and enjoyed the wind in his hair.

Survived by loving wife Helen (nee Kelly) of Hanover. Proud father of Drew Martin of Walkerton and Cody Martin of Grand Prairie Alberta. Special grandfather to twins Delilah, Naleah and Jackson. Dear brother of Linda (Cecil) Brewster, Yvonne (Garnet) Bohnert both of Hanover and Judy Saunders of Stoney Creek. Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, niece Tonya Bohnert, brother in law Walter Saunders and mother in law Effie Kelly.

Visitation will be held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm where a Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at 11:00 am. Cremation to follow.

Memorial donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
