Mark Jeffrey Elliott, of Brantford, will always be remembered for his courage during difficult times. Unfortunately on Saturday, July 14, 2018, Mark passed away suddenly. His pain was too difficult and he was no longer just sad, just imprisoned by this powerful darkness. He was 52.
Born February 27, 1966, in Listowel, Ontario. Mark was an Inventory Specialist with the McIntyre Group based out of Kitchener for over 24 years. Mark had a taste for the odd fine Scotch every now and then, but his real passion was for his family and friends. He loved music and would connect deeply with it. A devoted Detroit Red Wings fan in every way and was proud to share it. Mark will be remembered by everyone that crossed his path. He was easy going and gentle and had that special smile that could light up the room, despite his battle with depression.
Loved by his children Jake Jeffrey Elliott and Emma Lynne Elliott both of Kitchener. Dear son of Patricia (nee Bell) Elliott of Hanover and the late Donald Elliott. Brother of Andrea (Roger) Roulston of Hanover and their children Brianna Kaitlynn Roulston and Kyle Elliott Roulston. Lovingly remembered by his love Lisa Hurlock and his step daughters Taylor, Kandice, and Karly.
Friends and family are invited to attend the Special Events Centre- Ground Effects (341411 Concession 2 NDR, Hanover) for a Memorial Visitation on Sunday, July 29, 2018, from 1 pm to 5 pm with an informal Memorial Service commencing at 2 pm with Rev. Bonnie Sutherland. Cremation has taken place with Inurnment of ashes at a later date in Elma Centre Cemetery, Atwood, ON.
Memorial donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association – Ontario, Wes for Youth or a charity of your choice are appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
