Marilyn Elizabeth Wittich, formerly of Hanover, passed away peacefully, in a Long-Term Care Home in Kitchener (from non-COVID related issues) on Sunday, January 3, 2021. She was 74.

Born on July 7, 1946 in Hanover to the late John J. and Gertrude (nee Wilhelm) Frank. Marilyn had a heart of gold and will be remembered by many when she worked at Heintzman's Piano Factory in Hanover, and later as an Avon representative for many years. Family described her as a very loving person that enjoyed going out for a great seafood dinner and enjoyed dancing to 50’s & 60’s Rock ‘n’ Roll music. Marilyn was also a big fan of relaxing in front of her T.V. and watching her favorite shows!

Marilyn will be sadly missed by her son, David Wittich of Hanover, daughter, Janine (Jamie) Sim of Durham and son, Brian (Nelly) Wittich of Cambridge. Loved grandmother of Jessica (Jordan) Ferraro, Monica Baetz (Nate McGuigan), Shawn Baetz and Jacob Sim. She was over the moon to hold her great grandson, Aiden McGuigan, who will grow up hearing great stories about great grandma. Loved sister of Eileen King of Hanover, Gordon (Karla) Frank of Kitchener, and sister-in-law of Doris Watson of Mississauga. Remembered by her niece, nephews and their families and many long-time friends. Predeceased by her parents, daughter-in-law Dorothy Wittich, brother Harold Frank, sister-in-law Dianne Frank and brother-in-law Bernald King.
