Jean Campbell

Jean Campbell (nee Torry), of Hanover, passed away peacefully guided by her angels at The Village Senior's Community on Tuesday, March 31, 2020. She was 90.

Born on April 14, 1929 in Hanover. Jean helped out on the family farm with her sisters and being the eldest, she was able to delegate and be responsible for many things on the farm. Daughter of the late George and Mary Ann (nee Boyce) Torry. Jean worked at the P&H, was a former cashier at Eatons and then worked for roughly 20 years at Schultz's Bakery. Jean met her husband Ralph after many years of "knowing" him from around town. She had a heart of gold, loved people, sewing, quilting, coloring and baking---- especially apple pies.

Survived by her children Marilyn (Chris) Campbell of London, Brian (Jan) Campbell of Texas, Kerwin (Gwendy) Campbell of Calgary, William Campbell of Mildmay, Wayne Campbell (Joyce MacIntosh) of Hanover and Karen Campbell of Tara. Loved grandmother of 9. Dear sister of Lois Bowes of Kitchener. Loved by her nieces and nephews and their families. Predeceased by her husband Ralph Campbell, son Ronald Campbell, granddaughter Sarah Campbell and her sister Georgina Torry.

A Private Family Graveside Service was held at Hanover Cemetery with Pastor Lyndsay McGregor officiating.

Memorial donations to the Sick Kids Hospital would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover.
