George "Bud" Densmer Barley, of Hanover, passed away peacefully at The Village Senior's Community in Hanover on Thursday, August 8, 2019. He was 84.

Born in North Bay on December 19, 1934 to the late Samuel and Isabelle Barley. George was a Foreman for Bell Canada for many years.

Survived by wife Dianne (nee Brown) Barley of Hanover. Loved father of Mark (Monica) Barley of Courtice. Dear grandfather of Brock Akerman (Ashleigh Honcoop), Kyle Akerman (Natalie McPherson) and Lisa Barley (Ian Hunter). Predeceased by sisters Dorothy Johnson and Betty Lamorie.

To honour his wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family inurnment of ashes will take place at the Columbarium in Hanover Cemetery at a later date.

Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover.
