Glen Lippert

Glen Patrick Lippert, of Hanover, passed away at SBGHC-Chesley, surrounded by his family on Sunday, June 23, 2019. He was 65.

Born in Hanover, on April 4, 1954, to the late Patrick and Nora (nee Britton) Lippert. Glen's true passion was family and he cherished many fond memories shared with those he loved. Glen worked for many years in Hanover in the Parks & Recreation Department. After retiring, he enjoyed his time at Cedar Rail Campground in Scone, known as a 'park ranger', and formed many friendships with camping friends and neighbours.

Survived by loving wife Elda Huber of Hanover. Dear father of Tanna (Rob) Albert of Hanover, Jeff Lorentz of Brantford, Tina (Dennis) Artuso of Hanover, Becky (Pete) Maifrini of Elmwood, Elda's children Laurie (Reg) Beitz of Hanover, Joe (Rose) Huber of RR4 Mildmay, Bobbi Jo Huber (Wayne Martin) of Moorefiled, Christa Huber (Tom Klaver) of Innisfil. Dearly missed by grandchildren Christina, Jenni, Devin, Alex, Mackenzie, Robyn, Jordyn, Kenzie, Ryerson, Sawyer, Sheldon, Morgan, Ben, Lucas, Adam, Micah, Aubrey, Elijah, Ashley, Troy, Aleasha, Tyler, Morgan, Colin, Jessica, and Dwight, as well as 10 great grandchildren. Fondly remembered by siblings Betty (Dave) Vere of Mildmay, Gary (Nancy) Lippert of Kincardine, Darlene (Gary) Beamsley of Kitchener, Francis (John) Beamsley of Kitchener, Judy (Jerry) Taibinger of Mildmay, Theresa Davidson (Bob) of Mildmay, Dan (Laura) Lippert of Guelph, Cathy Lippert (Tony) of Walkerton, and step-brother Patrick (Chris) Lippert of Walkerton of Walkerton. Glen will be missed by his many nieces and nephews and their families. Predeceased by his parents and grandson Reilly Artuso.

Family and friends are invited to Cedar Rail Family Campground in Scone at the Westwind Hall for a time of sharing memories and stories on Sunday, July 14, 2019 from 1-3 pm. Cremation has taken place.

Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover.
