Linda Tramer

Linda Amelia Tramer (nee Frook), of Hanover, passed away peacefully after a valiant battle with cancer at Freeport Hospital, Kitchener on Tuesday, January 8, 2019. She was 69 years old.

Linda was born on June 23, 1949 in Walkerton to the late Carl and Mabel (nee Leifso) Frook. Linda was a gracious and adored woman who showed courage through adversity, as well as loyalty and compassion for her many blessings. Being in a large family she learned patience and practiced her due diligence at an early age. After the untimely and tragic death of her first husband (Charles Rhody), she raised their young son Charles. Later, Linda was re-married to Bill Tramer and they expanded the family with the birth of their daughter, Lindsay. She was first employed with Waechter Law Firm in Walkerton, and then Crockford and Duffy, in Hanover. Finally, after many years of maintaining office operations, Linda retired with the company as Ken Duffy's right-hand. Through her sudden and terminal diagnosis, she maintained her dignity and strength by surrounding herself with family and friends. Linda will be remembered for her gentle smile and warm disposition. Dear to so many friends and family, she will be forever missed.
